アジア法文化の研究については,それが萌芽的研究であることからも,まず第一に,その研究方法論について,研究員相互の真摯な論議,相互了解が不可欠であった。そこで,この二年間,研究会活動をその基本においた。同時に,国内外からの著名な研究者を招き,論議をより質の高いものとすべく努めた(講師として,安田信之氏(名古屋大学国際開発研究科教授),クリストフ・アントンズ氏(オーストラリア北部準州大学東南アジア法センター所長)などを招いた)。第二に,比較法文化研究のため,韓国およびカンボジアでの海外調査・ヒアリングをおこなった。とりわけ,カンボジアでは,四本研究員の綿密なコーディネイトにより,国会,政府および裁判所の高官,裁判官などから貴重な意見を聞き,率直かつ活発な意見交換ができた。各研究員は,それぞれのテーマにつき,資料収集・ヒアリングのために出張し,論説をまとめた。これらの論説をまとめた研究成果は,関西大学法学研究所「アジア法文化研究班」研究会での論議をへて,現在,関西大学法学研究所研究叢書として,公刊の準備を進めているところである。

The research on legal culture is the first step in budding research, and the research methodology is the first step. The researchers sincerely discuss with each other and understand each other. During the past two years, the activities of the research association have been basically carried out. At the same time, well-known researchers from home and abroad were invited to discuss the quality of the research (Lecturer Nobuyuki Yasuda (Professor, Graduate School of International Development, Nagoya University), Director of Southeast Law, Northern Prefectural University). Second, comparative cultural studies in Korea and overseas surveys. The four researchers are close to each other, the parliament, the government, and the high officials of the tribunal. The judges exchange valuable opinions and exchange opinions. Each researcher is interested in the data collection, discussion and discussion of the topic. The results of this research were discussed at the seminar of the "Law and Culture Research Class" of Kansai University Law Institute. Now, Kansai University Law Institute Research Series is being prepared for publication.
