项目摘要

During rip-sawing of a lumber, the sawn lumber sometimes contacts resistant on the surface of circular saw-blade and the temperature on the saw-blade increases by the friction. The radial temperature distribution induces thermal buckling of saw-blade, then sawing can not be continued. In this study, the new designed surface of the saw-blade is made for the purpose that the emperature of saw-blade is not increase, even if lumber contacts resistant on the saw-blade. The section of concentric circular groove is triangular form. The temperature rise speed by the friction became gentle due to concentric circular grooves when the lumber was resistant pressed against the surface of rotating circular saw resistant instead of the contact of the rotating circular saw and the lumber in sawing.It was effective to suppress the friction heat by forming the concentric circular grooves that the cross section was triangular on circular saw-blade surfaces.As the increase of groove depth, the contact area (land width B) became smaller, and the temperature rise decreased, and it was effective in view of the friction heat control. However, the natural frequency became lower as the increase of groove depth, and it was not desirable that groove was very much deepened in view of the rigidity.
