Implication of researches on prediction of earthquake and volcano eruptions to disaster prevention research

我们总结了2000年和2001年关于地震和火山喷发的研究结果，以评估这些结果在社会和政府行政部门中的落实情况。我们在《2000年地震预报研究与观测新方案的推进》报告中公布了这一结果，该报告也已在互联网上发布，网址为：http://www.eri.u-tokyo.ac.jp/YOTIKYO/index.htm.

We summarized results of the research on earthquake and volcanic eruptions in 2000 and 2001 to evaluated how the results had been implemented in the society and administration in the government. We published the results in the report of "Promotion for the new Program of the Study and Observation for Earthquake Prediction in 2000", which has been also released in the web page if the Internet : URL : http://www.eri.u-tokyo.ac.jp/YOTIKYO/index.htm.
