Compilation of a Concordance to the Whole Vocabulary of Percy Bysshe Shelley's Literary Manuscripts Currently Known to Exist

The corpus on which the concordance is based was created by (1) converting to a machine-readable form transcriptions of the following manuscripts available in volumes I-XXII of the Bodleian Shelley Manuscripts series, Shelley volumes IV, VI, VII, and VIII of the Manuscripts of the Younger Romantics series, volumes IV, VI, and VII of Shelley and his Circle, and some other sources, and then (2) adding a reference to each line of the electronic texts of the transcriptions :・Bodleian MSS. Shelley c. 1, d. 1〜3, e. 1〜6・Bodleian MSS. Shelley adds. B. 2, c. 4〜5, c. 12, d. 3, d. 6〜9, e. 3, e. 6〜12, e. 14〜20, f. 1・British Library, Ashley MS. 4086・Huntington MSS. HM 329〜331, 2111, 2176, 2177, 12338・Harvard MSS. Eng. 258.2, 258.3 ; fMS. Eng. 822・Pforzheimer Collection MSS. : SC346, 372, 488, 516, 532, 536, 546〜549, 582・Other fair-copy manuscripts housed in various European and American libraries2. This corpus was then processed by Micro-OCP, the concordancer that proved to be best suited to the purpose of the present project, and a KWIC (Key Word In Context) concordance consisting of 24157 headwords and 4370 pages was produced.
