The Coulomb-breakup of unstable nuclei has recently attracted attention due to their astrophysical interest, but the limited data having large uncertainties hamper the challenge to various theoretical approaches. Expecting the deuteron can be used as an efficient probe for studying those problems, the detailed angular and energy distributions of breakup protons and neutrons in a wide angular range have been measured by constructing a new beam line at RCNP, Osaka University. It is remarkable that the distributions are well scaled among lighter targets but drastically change for ^<208>Pb. This feature is not reproduced by the simple pure-Coulomb breakup theory.
