项目摘要

2004年度は、研究の対象を、戦時期のみならず、戦後の日本と東アジアの大衆文化の多様な交流の歴史へと拡げ、まず、2004年6月に香港・嶺南大学で開催されたシンポジウムLinking Japan and Hong Kongにて、1970年代以降の日本の「料理マンガ」と香港映画・テレビドラマの影響関係に関する研究報告"Japanese Ryori Manga and Animation"を行った。また、2004年8月に香港・香港理工大学で開催された第17回国際比較文学会大会(The 17th Congress of the International Comparative Literature Association)にて、戦時期日本における「大東亜共栄圏」表象の問題に関する口頭発表"Performing the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere : Li Xianglan and the Japan Theater [Nichigeki] event"を行った。さらに、現在、韓国・延世大学にて刊行準備中の現代韓国映画に関する論文集New Korean Cinemaに、映画『殺人の追憶』(2003)と、韓国現代史、さらにはハリウッドを中心とするジャンル映画史との関わりについて論じた論文"Memories of Murder : Ubiquitous Serial Murder, the Community of Memories"を寄稿し、掲載が決定している。
