本研究では,宮崎県北部に産する、層序学的に連続した上村セクションのペルム紀中期/後期(G-L)境界前後の炭酸塩の炭素同位体比(δ^<13>C_<carb>)変動を明らかにするため,G-L境界前後を特に詳細な層序間隔で採取した試料の分析を行った。その結果、上村セクションのδ^<13>C_<carb>値は,全層序において正であり,また,フズリナで定義されたG-L境界直下で負方向へ約2‰シフトすることが、明らかにされた。上村セクションでは,ペルム紀中期に栄えたVerbeekinidae科の大型フズリナが絶滅した後,δ^<13>C_<carb>値が上位へむかって急減し始める層準からStaffellidae科の小型フズリナが産出し始め,δ^<13>C_<carb>値の約2‰の急減が終了した直後からペルム紀後期型のCodonofusiella属やReichelina属の小型フズリナが出現し始める。上村セクションのδ^<13>C_<carb>値は超海洋中央部表層の溶存無機炭素の同位体組成を反映していると考えられることから,G-L境界頃の超海洋表層において,生物の種類の入れ替わりとともに炭素固定システムに大きな異常が生じたことが示唆された。上村セクションのペルム紀中期末の層序のδ^<13>C_<carb>値は、約5‰を保っていることが明らかにされつつあるが、まだδ^<13>C_<carb>値変動の詳細が不明な層序が残されている。ペルム紀中期末の層序のδ^<13>C_<carb>値のデータを追加するために、上村セクションで試料採取を行った。従来の方法で採取することが不可能だった試料を、電動コアサンプル採取機器を使用して採取した。

This study is aimed at analyzing the carbon isotope ratio (δ^ C_ ) variation of carbon before and after the middle/late G-L boundary in the northern part of Miyazaki, and at analyzing the samples collected in <13><carb>detail before and after the G-L boundary. As a result, the δ^<13>C_<carb>value of the upper part of the sequence is about 2‰, which is the negative direction of the G-L boundary. In the middle of the period, the large scale of the family Verbeekinidae was extinct, and the δ^<13>C_value decreased rapidly from the beginning to the beginning. The small scale of the <carb>family Staffellidae was produced from the beginning to the end. The δ ^<13>C_<carb>value decreased rapidly from the beginning to the end. The late stage of the family Codonofusiella was Reichelina. The δ^ C_values of Uemura<13>'s carbon atoms reflect the isotopic composition of <carb>dissolved inorganic carbon in the surface layer of the central part of the ocean. The G-L boundary is currently in the surface layer of the ocean, and the species of organisms are replaced. The δ^ C_value of the sequence at the end of the middle and late stages of the Uemura <13>period is about <carb>5‰, and the δ^<13>C_value of the sequence is about 5 ‰<carb>. The δ^<13>C_<carb>value of the sequence at the end of the middle period of the period was added to the sample. It is impossible to take the test sample and use the electric machine.
