英文摘要
To investigate the normal profile of vertebral artery, color duplex sonography was performed in 67 young normal volunteer. And 29 hemodynamic vertebrobasilar insufficiency (hemodynamic VBI) suspected patients without otorhinolaryngologic disorder were assessed by those normal value. The following parameters were quantified that maximum flow velocity(Vmax), minimum flow velocity(Vmin), mean flow velocity(Vmean), Accelerate rate(Acc), PI(pulsatory index), RI(resistance index), luminal area, flow volume(1) Extracranial vertebral arteries were able to be observed from the basis to C2 level, but 4 levels ; C3, C4、C5、C6 were quntitative. C5 level was seemed to be most suitable position to gain the color flow mapping and Pulse Doppler wave form(2)Abnormal wave form were observed at one side(1 right side and 3 left side) in each 2 cases of male and female. These seem to be the normal variants. The rate of normal variants (4/67) seems to be fairly higher as compared with carotid artery which has few differences in right and left side(3) Normal volunteer were classified into 6 group : It. Side dominant (rt. flow volume/all flaw volume < 0.45) 22 male and 13 female ; symmetric (0.45〜0.55) 7 male and 8 female ; rt. Side dominant (>0.55) 7 male and 6 female. According to distribution. of flow volume in right and left side(4)There were significant difference between bilateral RI of male and female in It, side dominant group. And(5)PI and RI were thought to be suitable indicator for evaluating the changes in wave form of vertebral artery(6)We diagnosed 6 of 29 patients as dynamic VBI. Their PI,RI were changed at rotating the head or changing the position
