本研究では、前漢後期から後漢前期にかけて製作された漢鏡資料を収集し、その考古学的な分析を通じて、当該期の漢鏡の様相と製作系譜の検討をおこなうことを主たる目的としている。昨年度は、学術誌等に掲載された公開資料の多くを収集することができたが、本年度はその不足分の資料収集をおこないこれを補完した。資料の収集に際しては、本年度も中国において、墓葬出土資料の調査をおこなった。今回は、陜西省南部にて調査をおこない、これまでの論考において注目していた漢代に漢中と呼ばれた地域での検討を深めた。そして、これらの資料に基づいて型式学的な分析を進めた。方格規矩鏡などの分析においては、系譜の整理を進めるなかで、いくつかの新しい視点を見出すことができた。これらの成果は、新たな視点を整理しつつ、公表できるよう努めたい。集成資料の検討からは、製作系譜の整理とあわせて、「伝世鏡」「踏み返し鏡」などに対する、別の検討視点も得ることができたのではないかと考えている。また、地理情報システム(GIS)について、今回の分析には直接反映することは難しかったが、得られた成果の更なる検討及び他の漢鏡の整理において援用・導入することを想定して、その情報収集をおこなった。本研究は、物質文化資料の製作系譜とその流通に対する漢代における分析・検討であるが、本研究での成果が他の時代の中国考古学研究からはどのような相対評価ができるのか、また逆にそれらに対してどのような問いかけができるのか等々を、新石器時代から秦漢時代の社会システムを視野に入れた次なる課題に対する準備研究を開催して、検討をおこなった。
