本年度の研究の成果は以下の通りである。1.理論的研究a)研究代表者による銀行審査の理論モデルを修正・発展させ、論文としてまとめた。現在投稿中。b)銀行審査のモデルを、機関投資家による株式投資のモデルに応用し研究を進めている。株式投資も株式の将来価値を評価して行うという点で貸出審査と酷似しているが、潜在的に多くの競争相手がいるという点が異なる。このような場合に、複数の異なる情報戦略が共存して観察される可能性を検討している。これまでの研究で、機関投資家の報酬が、他の機関との相対的なパフォーマンスに応じて決定されるという状況で、多様な情報戦略が共存しうる可能性が示された。この成果は、上智大学経済学部、および筑波大学社会工学系の研究会で報告を行った。現在投稿準備中。c)上記の研究は、いずれも金融機関による情報活動が必ずしも有効に機能しない可能性を理論的に検討するものであるが、その原因としてある種のモラルハザードが生じている可能性を主に検討してきた。しかし、昨年度から認知心理学な側面から、情報活動が正しく行われない可能性も視野に入れて研究を開始した。このアプローチは行動ファイナンス理論という新しいファイナンス理論において注目されているものである。2.実証的研究銀行制度は、銀行に規律ある経営を行わせるうえで極めて重要な要素であると考えられている。本研究では、文献調査によって、銀行制度の違いを検討した。a)預金保険制度の違い ヨーロッパ、米国、およびアジア各国で預金保険制度が異なることが明らかになった。また、オーストラリア、ニュージーランドの預金保険制度については公的な制度の存在が文献では確認されず、今後の調査を行う予定である。b)破綻銀行処理方法の違い韓国と日本の破綻銀行処理は極めて対照的であることが最近知られるようになってきた。この点は今後も継続して調査を行う。

Research on the banking system and the banking law This study is based on literature review and a review of banking system violations. a) The deposit protection system varies from country to country. The existence of a public system in the reserve guarantee system is confirmed in the literature and the future investigation is scheduled. b) The handling of flawed banks in South Korea and Japan has been extremely well documented. The investigation will be carried out in the future.
