病児を抱える母親を対象に、精神健康度を解析し、ライフスタイルの関係から、社会的支援体制を検討した。対象は、乳幼児健診・予防接種(60人)、気管支喘息(55人)、感染症(54人)、NICUフォローアップ外来(14人)を受診した母親である。GHQ(日本版精神健康調査票囲碁GHQと略記)総点(28点満点)の分布は、最小値0から最大値24まで幅広く、平均7.5±5.5点で、中央値は、6点であった。乳幼児健診・予防接種(平均5.7±5.0、レンジ0〜19以下同様))、気管支喘息(平均8.1±6.0、0〜24)、感染症(平均8.9±5.2、1〜24)、NICU(平均7.2±4.7、0〜17)であり、感染症を持つ母親が高い傾向にあった。仕事との関係では、パートタイム(25人)とフルタイム(26人)と仕事を持つ母親のGHQ総点は、それぞれ平均11.0±5.9(3〜24)、平均8.4±6.3(0〜24)と無職(平均6.4±5.0(0〜21))に比べ高い傾向にあった。期待される子育て支援の要望は、母親に対する直接的な支援として、小児科専門医による電話等による24時間体制の小児救急相談室(82%)、行政からの定期的な症に救急体制に関する情報(41%)、病気の子どもを抱える親のための心の相談室の設置(34%)であった。職場や地域医療からの支援として、子どもの看護のための休暇制度の充実(61%)、上司・同僚の子どもの病気に関する理解の向上(43%)、病児を受け入れる保育体制の充実(31%)の順に多い。病児保育体制の整備が重要であるが、あっても利用しないが29%いて、病気の時ぐらい自分で看護するべきだという意見もあった。今回の調査結果から、地域の小児医療体制の改善点および子どもの看護のための休暇制度の充実等、職場での子育て支援体制の充実が必要であることが明らかとなった。

In the workplace, the regional medical staff supported the health care system, the children took care of the leisure system (61%), the boss and colleagues had an upward understanding of illness (43%), and the sick were admitted into the care system (31%).
