项目摘要

It is well known that Fuzhou region and Fuqing region in Fujian province are traditional Qiaoxiang (emigrant homeland). Qiaoxiang is a popularly used Chinese term meaning the region of large-scale outmigration. Recently, new migrants from Fujian Qiaoxiang areas have drawn a great deal of attention in USA, EU and JAPAN. This research attempt to explore social change of Qiaoxiang and new migration waves from Fuzhou district. We specifically focuses on the migration of Fujianese to JAPAN, and analyses the context, history of Fuzhou migrants, characteristics and demograhy of new Chinese migrants. Besides, this fieldwork explored Chinese crime, in particular Fujianese crime has increased sharply over the past 5 years in JAPAN. Fujianese became the big group in the Chinese community in JAPAN.

众所周知，福建省的福州地区和福清地区是传统的侨乡。侨乡是一个常用的汉语词汇，意思是大规模外迁的地区。近年来，来自福建侨乡地区的新移民受到了美国、欧盟和日本的广泛关注。本研究试图探讨桥乡的社会变迁与福州地区新移民潮。本文以福建人赴日移民为研究对象，分析了福州移民的背景、历史、中国新移民的特征和人口构成。此外，这次实地调查还探讨了中国人的犯罪，特别是福建人的犯罪在过去5年里在日本急剧增加。福建人成为日本华人社区的一大群体。
