広島県立博物館での研究成果の記録とまとめ本研究は、広島県立歴史博物館所蔵の草戸千軒町遺跡の出土品と現代美術の柴川作品とのコラボレーションにより、美術の分野と歴史の分野をつなげ、領域を超えた新しい視点で現代社会を検証した。また、子どもから大人までを対象とした大規模なワークショップや、企画展示室と常設展示室を連動させるワークシートの作成等による参加体験型の展覧会を行った。平成15年の夏に展覧会を実施し、多くの学校等の参加と市民のボランティアの協力により、地域に密着した新しいタイプの展覧会となり、全国的にも話題を呼んだ。本年度はその内容と研究成果について記録集にまとめた。今後の美術館、博物館教育の新しい取り組みの参考資料として役立ててもらうため、各地の美術館、博物館等に記録集の寄贈を予定している。「2000年後の冒険ミュージアム」記録集 柴川敏之編著(A5サイズ、272頁、フルカラー 平成17年3月31日発行)内容(目次)は、テキスト(柴川敏之、広島県立歴史博物館草戸千軒町遺跡研究所所長 篠原芳秀氏、大原美術館プログラムコーディネーター 柳沢秀行氏)、展覧会の配置図及び関連アイテム、図版(展覧会の会場風景)、草戸千軒町遺跡に関する資料、柴川敏之に関する資料、ワークシート、ワークショップ、ボランティアスタッフ、2つの関連企画、展覧会データ(入館者数データ、アンケート集計結果等)、みなさんの言葉(館長、子ども、保護者、先生、ボランティアスタッフ、大学関係者、歴史関係者、美術関係者、マスコミ関係者等の様々な立場の方々から寄せられた文集)等。
