本年度は、文献調査の過程で浮上した課題について、夏期に中国山西省南部および陝西省において現地調査を実施する計画であったが、SARS等の影響により計画の変更を余儀なくされた。このため、演劇資料に関しては、実際の文物による確認作業はひとまず断念し、演劇文物に関する文献調査を深化させることにした。公刊された論著から清代前期以前の資料をより詳細に調査した結果、隋唐故事に関する資料は若干発見され、その形成年代を考察する上での参考とすることができた。薛家将故事については残念ながら有効な演劇文物資料が見いだせず、薛家将故事の形成過程については、地方戯曲の台本資料と小説・伝奇等との対照という方法が最も有効であることが確認された。同時に、小説を中心に、個々の作品についての研究を進めた。特に、明清講史小説の時間概念の変化について、隋唐物語を扱った小説作品を対照し、それが明代、清代乾隆期以前、乾隆期以後とでそれぞれ相違していることを析出した。研究成果のデジタル化については、前年度にデジタルデータ化した文献資料の校正・整形作業を、大学院生のアルバイトに委託しながら進めた。現在、『成化説唱詞話』『説唐』『混唐後伝』については、基本的な校正作業を完了し、研究報告書の刊行と同時に公開できる状態になっている。以上の成果は、2004年度中に論文として発表し、あわせて成果報告書にまとめ、紙媒体と同時にCD-ROM・インターネットWWWなどを通じて発表・公開する予定である。

In particular, the concept of time in historical novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties has changed, and the novels of the Sui and Tang Dynasties have been compared with each other. They are in conflict with each other in the Ming Dynasty, before the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and after the Qianlong period. The research results are published in the previous year, and the correction and shaping of literature data are entrusted to college students. Now, the basic correction work is completed, and the research report is published and published. The above achievements are published in the 2004 annual paper, paper and paper media, and are scheduled to be published in the CD-ROM.
