项目摘要

平成15年度の成果を踏まえた上で、新たに、少数派側条件に割り当てられる人物にはサクラ(実験協力者)を用いる。サクラは、ディスカッション場面において予め定められた行動(2条件:性役割分業を肯定する発言、性役割分業を否定する発言)をとる、という実験操作を加えた実験研究を遂行した。性別混成状況下での自己意識・自己ステレオタイプ化については、複数の競合仮説が存在し、依然として解決をみていないテーマである。本研究では、ディスカッションが公的な状況としてなされる条件と私的な状況としてなされる条件も設定された。従属変数としては、意識的で顕在的な測度(評定尺度)と、非意識的で潜在的な測度の両者を用いた。非意識的な測度としては、IAT (Implicit Association Test)技法群に属する新しい測度であるGNAT (GO/No-go Association Task)を採用した。この手法は、複数の概念に対する潜在的な選好を各々の概念ごとに独立に測定できる新しい手法である。主たる知見としては、自己に対する顕在的なステレオタイプ化測度については、ディスカッションが公的な状況としてなされる条件においては、男性実験参加者も女性実験参加者も自己の女性性を反ステレオタイプ的に自己評定していたことが見出され、創られた性差として捉えうるような回答パターンが男女いずれにおいて示されていた。その一方、潜在的な測度の結果は高度に複雑なパターンを示した。このことは、ディスカッション場面という伝統的な区分での男性的特性が発揮されやすい傾向にある場面において、性別分業を肯定する/あるいは否定するという明確な主張を向けられることが、少なくとも大学生実験参加者にとっては複雑性の高い課題であったことが関係していよう。
