Human recombinant MMP-1,MMP-3を用いたELISA法により、全身性強皮症(以下SSc)血清中の抗MMP-1抗体価および抗MMP-3抗体価の経時的変化を評価した。抗MMP-1抗体価は、全経過を通じて変化することはなかった。抗MMP-3抗体価は、病初期高値を示し、経時的に低下する傾向が認められた。しかし、経過中肺線維症の増悪など病勢の増悪を認めた例においても病勢増悪を反映するような抗体価の再上昇は認められなかった。また、間質性肺炎のマーカーとして知られているKL-6,SP-Dの値との相関も認められなかった。皮膚硬化の指標であるmodified Rodnan total skin thickness scoreは経時的に低下しており、有意ではないが、抗体価と皮膚硬化は正の相関を示す傾向が認められた。炎症の程度を表すCRPなどの値と抗体価の間に相関はなかった。抗topoisomerase-1抗体などその他の自己抗体の抗体価とも相関を示さなかった。従って、抗MMP-1抗体価は経時的変化を示さず、抗MMP-3抗体価は経時的に低下する傾向が認められた。しかし、後者も病勢に比例して上昇する傾向は認められなかった。従って、抗MMP-3抗体は病初期に何らかの形で病態形成に関与している可能性が考えられた。

Human recombinant MMP-1,MMP-3 was detected by ELISA. The serum anti-MMP-1 antibody and anti-MMP-3 antibody levels in patients with systemic scleroderma (SSc) were evaluated. Anti-MMP-1 antibodies are resistant to anti-MMP-1 antibodies. Anti-MMP-3 antibodies tend to show high levels in the early stages of disease and low levels in the middle stages. The increase in the severity of lung disease is reflected in the increase in antibody levels. KL-6,SP-D and other relevant factors may be involved in interstitial pneumonia. The index of skin sclerosis is modified Rodnan total skin thickness score is lower than that of normal skin thickness score. The degree of inflammation is related to CRP and antibody levels. Anti-topoisomerase-1 antibodies are associated with other antibodies. Anti-MMP-1 antibodies showed a tendency to decrease in the presence of anti-MMP-3 antibodies. The proportion of the latter disease tends to rise. Anti-MMP-3 antibodies are related to the early stage of disease and the possibility of disease formation.
