「梁元帝『金楼子』について」と題した論文が『九州大学東洋史論集』34号に掲載された。その内容は以下の通りである。『金楼子』とは、南朝文化の極盛期を生きた梁武帝の第七子、元帝蕭繹の著作である。本書を、元帝のパーソナリティーについての考察が中心である先行研究の観点とは別の角度からみるとき、家訓書としての面を持っていることがわかる。ゆえに、当時の皇帝が教育観を著したものとして、特に戒子篇に注目して考察を行った。戒子篇の考察を通して、本書が家訓書としてとらえられること、また魏晋南朝時代の家訓類を多く引用することによって、それらの中に点在していた教育思想をまとめる役割を果たしたこと、『顔氏家訓』への大きな影響をみることができることを指摘した。以上のことから、本書は、中国における「家訓書の原型」であるととらえることができると結論づけた。『宋斉時代の皇子教育について』と題した論文を投稿予定である。その内容は以下の通りである。宋斉時代においては、悪童天子が続出し、皇子教育の失敗が顕著であることの背景を探るため、宋斉時代の皇子教育の実態について考察を加えた。その考察を通して、当該時代においては、皇子が軍事力を有して出鎮するという体制により、皇帝にとって皇子は教育対象ではなく、監視対象であったため、皇帝は皇子教育に消極的であり、改善を試みても、監視対象であるという大前提は変化せず、皇子教育の実態を大きく変化させることはできなかったことを指摘し、悪童天子の続出という教育の失敗は、当該時代の社会背景と密接に結びついていることを明らかにした。また魏晋南北朝史研究会に参加し、当該時代ついての研究動向に関する理解を深めた。
