项目摘要

本年度は、青銅器鋳造法の調査を中心におこなった。器の内外面にあらわれる笵線の位置をもとに、鋳型の合わせ方、鋳型の形や数を復元する調査に重点をおいた。また、把手や脚のある器については、本体との接合の仕方を調査した。調査地は日本国内のコレクション資料を所蔵する博物館、北京、上海、陝西省の博物館に収蔵されている資料を調査した。その結果、特に鼎の鋳造法についていくつかの知見を得た。殷後期から西周時代をとおして採用されていた、器部分と脚部分を一連にした鋳型を鼎の三脚部分で合わせる三分法が、脚と脚の間に鋳型の合わせ目を設定する三分法に変化し、脚部の中心には円形の鋳型をおくことで固定する方法を採用する。この変化が春秋時代前期のなかで漸次おきていることを理解することができた。こうした鋳型の組み合わせの変化が、中国のどの地域で発生し、どのように普及していったのかを追究することが今後必要となる。しかし、鼎以外の器でも同様に鋳造法の変化があったのかどうかをつきとめるにはいたらなかった。一方、以前に研究した青銅製武器の形態は西周の末期から春秋時代の初めに顕著な変化がみられ、この形はほどなくして広範囲に普及していく状況がみられる。青銅容器の鋳造法の変化と青銅武器の形態変化は、時期的に一致するのかどうか、一致するとすれば、その変化の背景にはなにがあったのかを追究することが今後の課題となろう。春秋時代は西周の王権が衰退し、実質的には地方政権の台頭する時期である。それまで、中央政府に規定されていた青銅器の製作技術が地方に拡散していき、個々で独自に発展していく時代である。こうした変化のながれを、具体的個別的な遺物の変化を詳細に把握していくことで、たどっていきたいと考える。
