本研究における今年度の成果は下記の通りである。第1に、昨年度までの作業に継続して、近年の国際文化交流政策のあり方に関し、日本側、韓国側それぞれの多様なアクター(政府担当部局、文化交流を専門とする専門機関、自治体、NGO団体、文化産業関連企業および団体等)について、最新の白書類・年鑑類・調査報告書等の情報を収集し、実態の把握を進めた。第2に、これまでの情報の蓄積をもとに現場の担当者や国内外の研究者との意見交換を積極的に行い、議論を重ねた。特に2005年〜06年には「韓流」をテーマにしたシンポジウムや研究会が相次いで開催され、こうした機を活かして隣接領域を含む多様な領域の研究者や実務家と幅広い議論を直接に展開できたことは幸運であり、意義深かった。第3に、上述のような活動の中で得た知見を今後の研究活動に効果的・効率的に活用しうるよう、情報の整理を継続して行った。この作業に際し、本研究の補助金によって導入した日韓二カ国語環境のパーソナルコンピュータおよびソフトウェア一式を大いに役立てることができた。
