项目摘要

平成17年度は平成15〜16年度の研究成果を踏まえて,以下のような研究を行った.1.前年度までの研究において得られた成果に関して,関係研究者等から得られたコメントに基づいて修正を加え,論文数本を査読付国際学術専門誌に投稿した.そのうち2本の論文の掲載が決定し,2006年中に公刊される予定である.これらの論文においては,国際貿易の自由化や森林認証等の政策が森林等の再生可能資源の保全に与える効果や,リサイクル資源の活用に関する政策がリサイクル資源の国際貿易を通じて与える効果等について理論的な分析を行った.他の論文数本に関しては,査読付国際学術専門誌において引き続き審査中である.2.さらに,前年度までに行ったフェア・トレードの現状に関するデータ分析で明らかになった市場構造を念頭に置いて,発展途上国における社会的ダンピングが国際貿易を通じて与える効果について新たに理論研究を行った.その結果,途上国の労働市場における雇用者側の買い手独占的な市場支配力が社会的ダンピングの原因となっている場合は,通常考えられているのとは異なり,途上国企業の社会的ダンピングによって,先進国の企業が逆に恩恵を被る可能性があることや,社会条項関税や労働基準の強化などの政策が見込み通りの効果を得られない可能性があること等が明らかになった.これらの研究成果について,Fall 2005 Meeting of Midwest International Economics Group, the 7th Annual Conference of European Trade Study Group, 2005 Meeting of Asia Pacific Trade Seminars等の国際コンファレンスと,日本経済学会2005年度春季大会等の国内学会において報告を行った.
