Research for Early Imperial Steel Works YAWATA

本研究的主要对象是对创立之初的典型研究《日本现代钢铁技术发展史》（斋草广人、饭田健一，1957）进行批判。为此，我们使用并分析了YAWATA的官方文件。我们的调查揭示了以下几点要点。YAWATA的成立是由WADA计划的第一次和第二次承担完成的，每年18万吨的钢铁生产，包括弹药和一般需求。最初的挫折主要是由于资金短缺，而不是由于技术问题。YAWATA在短期内成功地根据德国的计划进行调整，通过投资补充支出来改善不完善的设施。

The main subject of our research was to criticize a typical study on the YAWATA works at the founding which was “A Histoty of the development of the Japanese modem iron and steel technology" (Saigusa Hiroto and Iida Kenichi, 1957). We used and analyzed the official documents of YAWATA for this. Our investigations have thrown light upon the following main points.1. The establishment of YAWATA was accomplished by the first and secondary undertaking of WADA plan, 180,000 tons of steel production per year including both munitions and general demand.2. The initial setbacks depended on more fundamental financial shortage than technological trebles.3. YAWATA successfully in a short term adjusted to the German plan according to improve the immoderate facilities by investing supplemet expenditure.
