現代中国における政治動員・大衆運動の系譜の分析に力を入れた。主な政治運動として取り上げているのは、三反・五反運動、百花斉放・百家争鳴運動、反右派闘争、大躍進運動、社会主義教育運動である。上海市档案館における資料調査を通して、それぞれの運動に関する公文書(档案)を網羅的に収集・整理し、新資料に基づいて研究を進めた。その結果、先行の諸研究に付け加えるべき新たな知見も得た。研究を通して得た新たな知見に関しては、「大躍進時期の政治過程と労働現場」(『近きに在りて』第50号53-67頁)および「人民共和国建国初期における政治的暴力と社会秩序」(『歴史評論』歴史科学協議会、通巻681号43-55頁)という研究論文として学術誌に発表した。これらの論文では、上海での現地調査で入手した档案資料をもとに、建国初期50年代の都市社会の政治運動の内実を、具体的な事例に基づき、政治権力と民衆との関係性の側面に光を当てつつ明らかにした。また同時に国内外の学会においては、1「建国後中国の社会変容と文化大革命」(現代中国学会第56回全国学術大会共通論題「文革40年と中国の現在」)、2"The Shanghai Worker's Movement during the Cultural Revolution : Conjoining Structual and Processual Perspectives" (Association for Asian Studies. Annual Meeting)をそれぞれ発表し、国際的に議論を深めることができた。

On behalf of the people's Republic of China, the Department of political Mobilization has been involved in the analysis of political mobilization in China. The main political activities should be divided into three political campaigns, three anti-war campaigns, five anti-war campaigns, a hundred flowers campaign, a hundred schools of thought campaign, an anti-rightist campaign, a major revolution, and a socialistic educational campaign. The Shanghai Archives and Information Collection of the official document (Archives) Internet, and the research of the new data base database has been advanced. The results were compared, and the results of the study were reviewed in advance. The study has gained new information about the political process in the latest period (No. 50, 53-67). The violent Social order of Politics in the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China (Historical Science Association, Tongzhong No. 681, No. 43-55) published a list of research papers and journals. In the early 1950s after the founding of the people's Republic of China, urban social political activities in the early 1950s, specific examples, political power, civil affairs and sexual relations were discussed in this paper. At the same time, Chinese and foreign societies held talks on the cultural revolution in China after the founding of the people's Republic of China.
