本研究は,以下の2点を目的として行われている。すなわち,1.法律相談を題材に,効果的な専門的相談のためのモデルを生成すること,2.1を踏まえて,初心弁護士を対象とする研修プログラムを実践・評価すること,である。研究目的1に関しては,事例検討会の参与観察と弁護士への調査面接のデータに基づいて分析を行い,研究成果を発表した(International Congress of Applied Psychology,日本教育心理学会)。その結果,カウンセリングの技術を法律相談に適用するための留意点が明らかとなった。さらに,これらの成果は,法科大学院の主催するシンポジウムでも発表された(岡山大学法科大学院専門家ネットワーク主催ミニ・シンポジウム)。このように,研究成果は,学会および実践家に還元されている状況である。次に、研究目的2に関しては,二種類の研修グループに研究者が参加し,観察を行い,その成果をまとめつつある。詳細な事例データに基づく事例研究が平成19年度中にも発表される予定であるほか,研修プログラムを実践するためのテキストとして,研究成果がまとめられた(菅原郁夫・下山晴彦(編),2007)。加えて,平成18年度には,研究方法論を整備する必要性から,以下のような研究が行われた。すなわち,本研究全体を貫く方法論である質的研究法について,最新の技法を取り入れるため,海外文献の翻訳が行われた(下山晴彦(監修),2007)。また,臨床心理学研究の全体を見渡す海外文献の翻訳を行われた(下山晴彦(監訳),2007)。以上が,雑誌論文および学会発表における研究成果である。
