近年、天候デリバティブに代表されるように、評価の複雑なオプションが数多くつくられている。その一方、これらのオプション・プライシングに関する理論的研究は十分になされているとは言い難い状況にある。今年度は、ルックバック・オプション、バリア・オプションの動的価格付けに関する研究を行った。これらのオプションは、複合評価型オプションであり、単一評価型オプションとは、取り扱いを異にする。これらのオプション・プライシングは、確率論をベースとする、言わば直接的方法で行われることが通常である。これら2項モデル上のオプション・プライシング問題に対し、新たな動的価格付けを提案した。用いた手法は動的計画法であるが、一般の動的計画法は最適化問題に適用されるものである。この研究に適用したのは、非最適化の動的計画法である。不変埋没原理を導入することによって、拡大状態空間を生成し、その上で再帰関係を導出することで、オプションの動的価格付けを行うことに成功している。
