项目摘要

本研究は,トカラ海峡での黒潮流路の変動と流速断面分布との関係,流速断面分布の変動特性,流路変動と流速断面分布の変動の関係を観測資料から明らかにすることを目的として行われた。平成17年度の研究実績の概要は以下の通りである。トカラ海峡を横断する(株)マルエーフェリーの「フェリーなみのうえ」に搭載した超音波流向流速分布計(ADCP)により,2005年は150回の断面観測を行った。この観測は2003年から継続しており,3年間で計475回の観測資料を得た。11月には,鹿児島大学水産学部の練習船「かごしま丸」の実習航海に便乗し,トカラ海峡のフェリー航路上で12測点でCTD・LADCP観測を行った。観測資料の解析により,トカラ海峡の流速断面分布は大きく5つのパターンに分類できることを示した。また,トカラ海峡から北太平洋に流出する流速が50cm/s以上の流れ(黒潮)の流量には約10日周期の黒潮前線波動に伴う変動と,1ヶ月から2ヶ月周期の東シナ海における黒潮流路の蛇行にともなう変動があることを確認した。黒潮前線波動に伴う変動では黒潮の強流コアはトカラ海峡の北部と南部で維持されたが(いわゆるdouble core),黒潮流路蛇行に伴う変動では大陸棚縁辺以南で強流コアが発達すると,北側のコアは消滅することが明らかになった。本年度の実施計画には無いが予定外の成果を得たので報告する。本研究の解析期間中に,都井岬沖で発達した小蛇行の下流への伝播が2回起こり,1回は黒潮流路の大蛇行に移行した。この2回の小蛇行の下流伝播が起きている期間中に(停滞期は除く),トカラ海峡の黒潮流量は10Sv減少することを見出した。なお,流速断面分布の時空間変動解析は計算過程に不備があったため結果を得られなかったが,これ以外の成果については論文誌への投稿準備を行っている。

This study focuses on the relationship between flow path variation and velocity profile distribution, flow path variation and velocity profile distribution, flow path variation and velocity profile distribution. The flow rate of the current (black tide) flowing out of the North Pacific Ocean at a velocity of more than 50cm/s is about 10 days, and the fluctuation of the front line of the black tide is accompanied by the change of the first month and the second month, and the snake movement of the black tide path is confirmed. The black tide front fluctuates with the strong current of the black tide in the north and south of the strait, and the black tide path snakes with the strong current in the south of the continental shelf, and the strong current in the north disappears. The implementation plan for the year was not approved and the results were reported. During the analysis period of this study, there were two cycles of small snake flow and one cycle of large snake flow in the black current path During the period of the second cycle of the small snake movement, the black tidal current in the Strait decreased by 10Sv. The analysis of time-space variation of velocity profile is carried out in the process of calculation.
