项目摘要

長崎変成岩類中の蛇紋岩メランジに産する変成岩塊の岩石学的特徴、放射年代、形成過程の解明を目的として野外調査および室内研究を行い、下記のような結果を得た。また、これらの新知見を論文および学会講演を通じて公表した。1.蛇紋岩メランジは、緑簾石バロワ閃石片岩、緑簾石藍閃石片岩、泥質片岩、ザクロ石角閃石岩、ロジン岩、クリノゾイサイト白雲母岩、曹長岩、ヒスイ輝石岩、オンファス輝石岩といった多種多様な変成岩塊を含む。2.ヒスイ輝石岩中のヒスイ輝石はコアに石英包有物を含む。これは、ヒスイ輝石岩が曹長石の分解反応で形成されたことを示す世界初の事例であり、ヒスイ輝石岩が周囲の片岩(曹長石を含む)より高圧条件下で形成されたことを示す。また、ヒスイ輝石岩が後退変成時に形成された曹長石や方沸石を含むことから、その上昇過程のP-T-tパスを明らかにした。3.ヒスイ輝石岩中の白雲母と金雲母の^<40>Ar/^<39>Arスポット年代とRb-Sr鉱物アイソクロン年代を測定した。その結果、65〜80Maの年代値を得た。これはヒスイ輝石岩の上昇年代と解釈され、周囲の片岩の上昇年代値と一致する。4.ヒスイ輝石岩塊とオンファス輝石岩塊は、単鉱物質な「外皮」を伴う累帯構造を持つ。「外皮」は曹長石を含むことから岩塊の上昇過程において形成されたと考えられる。この累帯構造の形成過程における物質移動をアイソコン法により推定した。
