本研究は分子動力学、分子気体力学、衝撃波管実験により,非平衡気液界面での相変化について以下のことを明らかにしたものである。(1)物理的に正しい気体論境界条件を分子動力学解析により定式化し、この境界条件を用いた分子気体力学解析により流体力学方程式の気液境界条件を導いた。(2)水とメタノールの凝縮係数は非平衡状態では1よりも小さな値をとり、平衡状態に近づくにつれてそれぞれの蒸発係数の値に漸近する。(3)ナノ液滴の蒸発係数は微小な液滴ほど蒸発係数が小さい。(4)ナノ液滴の飽和蒸気圧は微小な液滴ほど蒸気圧が高い。(5)ナノ液滴の表面張力は微小な液滴ほど表面張力が小さい。
