项目摘要

H18年度の研究実績の概要1.研究の目的(1)京築地区における神楽舞台の実態及び建築的特徴を明らかにする-前年度までは舞台の調査を重点的に行ってきたが、未調査である楽屋の実態調査を京築地区全体について行う。また、旧豊前国内の京築地区周辺部に存在する舞台をランダムに抽出して調査を行い、それと比較することにより京築地区における特徴をより明確にする。(2)舞台の維持管理体制が集落住民の共同体意識に果たす役割-神楽奉納が盛んな京築地区の中部、及び南部について舞台の維持管理に関するヒヤリング調査を行い、前年度調査済の豊前市の調査結果(52)と併せて分析。(3)神楽の奉納空間-前年度までは、最も神楽奉納が盛んな南部の神楽奉納についての調査を行ってきたが、まだ未調査である北部の神楽奉納についての特徴を明確にする。2.平成18年度研究調査実績(1)神楽舞台の実態調査(イ)京築地区内のH17年度に未調査である以下の境内配置・舞台・楽屋の実態調査を実施。苅田町(19)、行橋市(26)、旧勝山町(9)、旧犀川町(7)、旧豊津町(3)、旧築城町(10)、旧椎田町(18)、豊前市(2)、吉富町(9)、計103舞台(ロ)京築地区周辺部の旧豊前国内に存在する舞台をランダムに抽出し実態調査を実施。北九州市小倉南区(7)、旧田川郡(9)、旧中津市(11)、旧宇佐市(18)、計45舞台実態調査は予定通り完了。分析の結果、周辺部に存在する舞台の特徴は京築地区の舞台の特徴の延長上にあることが判明(周辺部北部は京築地区北部の、周辺部南部は京築地区南部の特徴)。これにより京築地区の舞台の特徴を豊前神楽の里である旧豊前国という広域の中で検証し、より明解にすることができた。(2)舞台の維持管理体制に関して区長又は氏子総代に訪問ヒヤリング調査を実施。調査・分析は予定通り完了。・地区中部:旧豊津町(16)、・地区南部:吉富町(6)、旧新吉富村(6)、旧大平村(15)、・計43舞台(調査済み豊前市(52)と併せて、計95舞台)共同体意識醸成には多変量解析の結果、奉納の有無、氏子軒数、年間清掃回数、清掃参加率、等の項目の中で、清掃参加率の寄与率が最も高いという結果を得た。即ち、集落の共同体意識の程度は集落全住民の舞台の維持活動への参加の度合いに依存する。(3)神楽の奉納空間の調査行橋市の安浦神社(稲童神楽)と草野正八幡神社の観察調査を実施。稲童神楽は拝殿式舞台での奉納、楽屋は拝殿の一部を使用。草野正八幡神社は境内の仮設舞台での奉納。いずれも中部・南部の奉納形態に比べて差異はみられない。
