项目摘要

前年度に引き続き、コミュニティケア支援情報システムについて、利用者が期待する情報品質を満足させるための要件について、社会環境的視点と技術的視点から検討を行った。社会環境的視点における検討では、ュビキタス情報社会における利用者の潜在的な価値観を調査する一手法としてAHP(階層化意思決定法)を導入し、情報システムの情報品質を測定する因子について、様々なカテゴリの利用者に対するアンケート調査とその結果について分析し、考察を加えた。その結果、利用者の期待する情報品質を知るためには、継続的な利用履歴情報に加えて、その他の日常生活におけるインフォーマル情報の取得と分析が必要であること、様々な利用者が利用するコミュニティケア支援情報システムにおいては、適切な利用支援を行う必要があることの2点を確認した。一方、技術的視点における検討では、情報品質に対する影響因子である利用者の知識の差に着目して、一般利用者向けのコミュニティケア支援情報システムの一例として￣、利用者中心型パーソナル歯健康管理システム(Home Dental Clinic)の設計と実装を行った。情報品質を高めるための主たる機能は、文字情報を補完するための小型のカメラによる画像情報記録機能、歯科の専門用語を解説する辞書機能の2点である。とりわけ、マルチメディア情報の活用は利用者間のコミュニケーションを促進する上でも重要である。また、上記の研究成果については、情報通信学会、情報処理学会等の国内学会及び情報通信政策について議論を行う国際電気通信連合(ITU)のワークショップ、情報品質についての国際学会(11^<th> International Conference on Information Quality)にて行った。
