右利きの健康成人5名にスプーン食べを施行させ計測を行った.計測条件は被験食品(ヨーグルト)を肘90度屈曲位および左右手指伸展位の中指先端(以下中位とする)線上の体幹正面に置き,マーカーを上下口唇,眉間,頸切痕,左右肩峰,左右上腕骨外側上顆,左右尺側遠位端,器の計11点に貼付した.左右尺側遠位端と器の2点間距離が最も短い時点をすくい時,上下口唇の2点間距離が最も短い時点を捕食時とし,すくい時から捕食時までの(1)肘の運動軌跡長および変位量(2)運動軌跡の描画について利き手側の解析を行ったところ以下結果を得た.1.運動軌跡長:近位においてのみ有意な差を認め,近位左側よりも近位右側において大きな値を示した.2.X軸(左右方向):被験食品の設定位置が左右方向に異なる場合のみ有意な差を認めた.遠位および中位で,右側と左側の間に有意差を認め,右側は+方向,左側は-方向への変位を示した.3.Y軸(前後方向):いずれの位置においても+方向への変位を認め,それぞれの被験食品の設定位置間に有意な差を認めなかった.4.Z軸(上下方向):いずれの被験食品の設定位置においても,+方向に変位を示した.被験食品の設定位置が左右方向に異なる場合,近位左側よりも近位右側は有意に大きな値を示し,前後方向に異なる場合,遠位右側よりも近位右側において有意に大きな値を示した.以上のことから,体幹および利き手側に最も近い被験食品の位置で,上肢の動作範囲は大きくなり,自食指導の初期においては困難であると考えられる.現在,非利き手側の動作解析および被験者の増加を行っている.
