1. 当初から取り組んでいる3地域からなるネットワーク(遠・近2外国と線分上に人口が分布する自国)からなる運輸市場を対象として,運輸施設までのアクセスコストと地域間運輸サービスにおける輸送密度の経済性という二面性を考慮したモデルについてモデルの修正及び再計算を行った.数値分析の結果,(1)住民の空港へのアクセスを改善することを目的として複数の空港を建設したとしてもシステム全体及び当該国の社会厚生を改善するとは限らないこと,(2)供給側の輸送密度の経済性が強くなく,かつ,需要側の輸送密度の経済性が強い場合に,乗り継ぎ便を含むネットワークパターンが存在する可能性があること,(3)供給側の輸送密度の経済性が非常に強い場合には,乗り継ぎ便を含むネットワークパターンは形成されにくくなり,直行便のみから構成されるネットワークパターンの解のみが存在すること,等がわかった.これらの成果を論文として投稿し,査読付き雑誌に掲載された.2. 1.での複数空港システムを考える場合の空港配置の仮定をより現実に近い設定となるように改善した.すなわち,自国において,地域間運輸サービスのための運輸施設の配置を考える上で,たとえば,人口分布一様の下では,一つ目の施設は地域の中心に立地させ,二つ目の施設が必要となる場合には一つ目の施設の立地を与件として効率的な施設配置を考えることを想定するようにモデルの再構築を行った.現在は,自国空港の空間配置に関する定性分析では,数値解析による検討を行っているが,複数空港立地を支持する均衡解のパターンが観測されず,路線集約効果以外に,混雑の導入等の拡張を進めている.
