本研究は,開放経済における諸問題,特に金融政策の厚生評価を行うことを最終目的としている。平成19年度は,昨年度までの分析結果に基づき,論文としてとりまとめる作業を行うと共に,分析を発展・拡張させ,成果を学会や各種研究会および学術誌で発表した。具体的にはまず,昨年度に引き続き動学的開放経済モデルを用いて裁量的金融政策の国際協調が経済厚生を向上させるかを考察し,本研究独自の数値計算により数量的な意味を検証した。そして成果を日本経済学会で発表した。また伝統的な研究では国際政策協調の利益が強調されてきたが,近年の開放経済マクロ経済学では,価格硬直性の下であっても国際金融協調による利益は皆無または小さいという結論が出されていることにも着目し,その背景にあるメカ二ズムを解明した。そして成果を論文にまとめ,国際学術誌に投稿した。さらにその発展として,金融政策以外にも政策変数がある場合.政策協調が各国厚生に与える影響およびその源泉を明らかにし,国際学術誌に投稿した。この概究は,特定の政策に実行上の制限がある場合に代替的政策手段を用いる影響も明らかにするものであり,現実の政策運営への含意も大きいと期待される。また,対外債権債務が証券の形で累積している場合,金融当局は緊縮的金融政策を行う誘引を持つことを,動学的一般均衡により示した。ミクロ的基礎付けを持つ開放経済学の既存研究では,閉じた形で解を導出することが困難な場合が多いが,本分折では政策を解析的に導出し含意を考察している。この成果はHitotsubashi Journal of Economicsに掲載される。
