项目摘要

本研究課題では、総合的なディスクロージャーの質の尺度を導出し、利益の質との関係を検証することを目的としている。本年度は、この準備段階として、会計情報のディスクロージャーにおける(1)市場の合理性、(2)会計情報全体の精度、(3)個々の基準の3つの観点から、利益の質に及ぼす影響について研究を行った。(1)については、「利益の質と発生項目アノマリー」として日本管理会計学会2005年全国大会(玉川大学)で研究報告を行い、現在『管理会計学』に投稿中である。この研究では、Mishkin(1983)のモデルを用いて、利益の質と市場の合理性との関係を検証した。その結果、利益の質が高い(低い)ほど、市場は利益やその構成要素の持続性を合理的に評価している(していない)にとが確認された。(2)については、「会計情報の精度と利益情報の質の関係-アナリストが直面する情報精度に基づく検証-」としてディスクロージャー研究学会第7回年次大会(関西学院大学)で研究報告を行い、現在『ディスクロージャー研究』に投稿中である。この研究では、Barron et et al.(1998)のモデルを用いてアナリストの利益予測から会計情報の精度を導出し、利益の質との関係を検証した。その結果、会計情報の精度が高い(低い)ほど、利益の質も高い(低い)ことが確認された。(3)については、金融商品会計基準を取り上げ、金融商品会計基準によって損益計上されるようになった評価差額と利益の質の関係について研究を行った。その結果、損益計上される評価差額は追加的な価値関連性を有して利益の質の向上に資する一方、発生項目の予測誤差を増大させて利益の質を損なう面もあることが確認された。この成果は、r金融商品会計の意義と利益の質に関する分析-損益計上される金融商品の評価差額について-」として『産研シリーズ』(早稲田大学産業経営研究所)第37号に掲載予定である。
