北日本夏期天候の5年周期変動をもたらす要因について、現地気象観測を含め多面的に解析した。北日本と太平洋西部熱帯域の気象要素はロスビー波の伝播を通じて同時的に変動しており、その波源域に属するインドネシアに関して、北日本の夏期気圧とジャワ島における降水量との同時的変動、水稲収量・植生指数にみられる5年周期変動、およびそれらと大規模場との有意な関係、等を明らかにすることができた。

In the five-year cycle of the summer weather in northern Japan, the weather cycle is due to the fact that there are many aspects of the weather. In the western Pacific Ocean of North Japan, the weather elements of the western Pacific Ocean show that the waves are broadcast at the same time, the source of the waves is in the same period, and the summer weather in North Japan is the same as the precipitation in the same period, the plant health index of water supply is in the same period of 5-year cycle, and the model field is intended to operate in the same period. And so on.
