本研究「ジェイムズ・ジョイスとオリエンタリズム」は、従来ひたすらヨーロッパ的作家として研究されてきた枠組みから20世紀を代表するアイルランド人作家ジョイスを解放し、エドワード・サイードのオリエンタリズム理論に基づき、ユダヤ人を含めたオリエント、さらに東アジアとの関連において研究したものである。交付を受けた3年間において、国際学会発表5件、学術雑誌掲載論文4件(査読付)、著書1件(共著)という成果を発表した

This study is based on the study of the relationship between the author and the representative of the 20th century. During the three years of delivery, 5 papers were published by international societies, 4 papers were published in academic journals (check and pay), 1 book was published (total), and the results were published.
