In this research, women's lifecycle and housing choice were analyzed from the view point of housing demand. The results are as follows.Firstly, from the analyses of the panel data of women's behavior of consumption, the relation between women's lifecycle and residential choice, their working condition and housing demand, were verified.Secondly, the condition of child care, which is the important position in the life of women, was analyzed and the suggestion to the facility system of child care was gained.Thirdly, residential choice, housing environment, are analyzed and some suggestion to the housing policy was gained. These results were published to the academic papers or were presented in the symposiums.

本研究从住房需求的角度分析了女性的生命周期和住房选择。研究结果表明：（1）通过对女性消费行为的面板数据分析，验证了女性的生命周期与居住选择、工作状况和住房需求之间的关系;（2）分析了在女性生活中占有重要地位的儿童保育状况，并提出了对儿童保育设施体系的建议;（3）在居住选择、工作状况和住房需求等方面，女性的生活质量与居住选择、工作状况和住房需求之间的关系。住房环境等方面进行了分析，并提出了相应的政策建议。这些结果发表在学术论文上或在专题讨论会上发表。
