In this project, modeling of stochastic evolutionary dynamics together with population dynamics has been explored. Especially, co-evolutionary interactions between hosts and parasites were simulated using individual-based models and the effect of stochasticity of birth-death process in two-dimensional continuous space was extensively studied.Introduction to individual-based modeling was developed and the library to implement individual-based models in general is now open public through the PI's web page at http://gi.ics.nara-wu.ac.jp/~takasuFour papers are published supported by this grant. Takasu,A.
