英文摘要
It is well known that asparagus produce biosynthetically an allelochemical, and the chemical substance have been seemed to be one of the factors for replant failure in the field. The purpose of this study is to establish the aseptic bioassay systems for estimation of allelopathic effects of asparagus regenerants to avoid replant failure. The important results obtained are shown as follows :1) We recognized allelopathic effects when the leaves obtained from female and male plants were used for sandwich method that previously established.2) We also recognized allelopathic effects when the female and male regenerants generated from apical meristems were employed for aseptic bioassay systems that established in this research project.3) Based on the above results, we confirmed the allelopathic effects varied from variety to variety.4) Substituting asparagus seeds for these of lettuce in the case of aseptic bioassay systems, the development of asparagus seedlings has not been disturbed by allelochemical like substances.5) Alteration of allelopathic effects was shown in the modified bioassay systems by irradiation with LED during assay period.6) It is considered that the buffer or gel used for bioassay systems may include and concentrate an allelochemical (s) ; the isolation and identification of target substance (s) are now in progress.
