Dr.KIM氏は平成20年度において、研究課題「未利用材の木質バイオマスエネルギーとしての活用に関する研究」の研究計画に沿って着実に研究を進めた。SpringerのASIA EUROPE JOURNALにAssessment of non-tilnber forest products in Phnom Kok community forest,Cambodiaを公表した。また本年度は最終年度であるため、2年間にわたり蓄積してきた研究成果を広く世に問うために公表することを考えて、成果を2冊の著作、Managing Small Forests for Poverty Alleviation-A Sustainable Approach to Managing Small Forests及びManaging Forest Resourcrs in Cambodia for Timber Revenues and Poverty Alleviation-A Sustainable Approach to Managing Forest Resourcesを米国から出版した。
