项目摘要

主たる研究遂行者であるWU研究員は、大西と相談の上、本年度の計画を下記の如く定め、それに従って研究を実施した。(1)前年度に引き続き、両漢魏晋時代から清代の経典における注釈と訓詰関係の書籍における音転現象を調査するとともに、清代訓詁学の成果と音転現象研究の特色を探る。(2)近現代における音義関係の科学的、言語学的な研究とその成果についてまとめる。(3)2年間にわたる研究の総括を行う。研究計画はほぼ予定通り実施され、本研究報告書に挙げた論文の他、25万字に及ぶ中国語音転研究史にかんする文章を完成したとの報告を受けているが、その成果の発表は帰国後になる。具体的な成果としての一端を述べると、『古漢語研究』2008年第4期に掲載された「従高誘注中的音訓詞看漢魏時期同義并列双音詞的衍生模式」は、後漢末期の学者高誘が『淮南子』につけた注釈の中から音訓語を網羅的に拾い上げ、漢魏時代における同義並列の二音節語の配列順序に関して声母の清濁や声調などの前後関係に一定の規則性が見出せることを論じたものである。一方受入研究者である大西は、戦国秦簡時代の出土資料における音転に関連する現象の探求を行なった。中古音章組所属字の一部は、上古音において牙喉音に起源を持つことが、従来河野六郎氏らの研究によって知られているが、具体的にどの字がそれに該当するかは資料上の制約があってこれまであまり明らかではなかった。本報告書に挙げた「戦國楚簡文字中讀作舌根音的幾個章組字」は楚簡における諸声符の分布を検討することにより、「慎」「制」「折」「噬」などこれまで知られていないものが含まれていることを明らかにしたほか、このような変化の起こった時代を秦から前漢時代に引き上げうることを指摘している。
