本年度は、三年間の研究作業のまとめとして、資料の最終分析作業を徹底するとともに、過去の分析過程を整理し、論文ないしは著作として発表する作業を中心に行った。まず、16世紀末のフィレンツェで活躍した修道士Agostino Del Riccio(1541-98)が執筆した農業百科全書『Agricoltura sperimentale』(経験農業論)および『Agricoltura teorica』(理論農業論)の手稿を、テキストデータに起こし、校訂版出版に必要な作業および注記を施した。その分析結果をもとに、この農業論中で語られる理想庭園構想の空間を再構築し、そこに見られる百科全書的知識の表象方法が同時代の記憶術やエンブレム文学と強い関連を持つことを指摘し、当時の建築空間の持っていた知的密度の剔抉に成功した。その成果は、『地中海学研究』誌上にて2009年に掲載されることが決定している。また西欧初のミュージアム理論書として知られるSamuel Quiccheberg『Inscriptione vel tituli theatri amplissimi』(1565)の分析をさらに深め、著者が本書で展開する理想ミュージアム空間の構成を再構築したうえで、その中で展覧される百科全書的知識と建築空間との密接な影響関係を明るみに出した。その成果をまとめた英語の論文を、科学史雑誌『NUNCIUS』(Olschki)に投稿中である。さらにやはり16世紀末に執筆された記憶術著作Cosma Rosselli『Thesaurus memoriae artificiosae』(1579)を詳細に分析し、同著で提示される、記憶の基盤として機能するさまざまな仮想空間の特性を分析した。とくに、修辞学の理論と建築空間の構成の通底を明らかにした。その成果は、2009年出版予定の論文集『鈴木博之先生退官記念論文集』に掲載されることが決定している。

This year, the research work of the past three years, the final analysis of the data, the reorganization of the past analysis process, the production of the work, the development of the work center Agostino Del Riccio(1541-98), a monk active in the late 16th century, wrote the manuscript of Agricoltura sperimentale (Theory of Agriculture) and Agricoltura teorica (Theory of Agriculture). The result of the analysis is that the ideal garden conjecture space is reconstructed, the encyclopedic knowledge representation method is reconstructed, the contemporary memory technique is reconstructed, the literature is reconstructed, the strong correlation is reconstructed, and the density of the architectural space at that time is successfully selected. The results were published in the journal Mediterranean Studies in 2009. Samuel Quiccheberg's analysis of the first theoretical book on architecture in Western Europe "Inscriptione vel tituli theatri amplissimi"(1565) is profound, and the author has developed this book to reconstruct the ideal spatial structure of the encyclopedia, which is an encyclopedia of knowledge and close relations between architectural spaces. English papers, scientific history journal "NUNCIUS"(Olschki) Cosma Rosselli's "Thesaurus memoriae artificiosae"(1579), written at the end of the 16th century, analyzes in detail the characteristics of the memory base and its functions. The theory of rhetoric and the composition of architectural space are clear and open. In 2009, the publication of a book entitled "Memorial Papers on the Retirement of Mr. Hiroyuki" was published.
