项目摘要

3年次にわたった本研究の最終年度として、本年は初年度・二年目に収集した中世写本及び近世稀観本のテキスト分析およびそこから抽出したデータの整理に費やされた。J.-P.Migne編纂になるエウティミオス・ジガベノスの異端論駁書『パノプリア・ドグマティケー』は、1360カラムからなる大部の冊子で知られている。この規模の著作の分析には、専門家の指導のもと長期間を要するものである。その先鞭を付ける形となる本研究では、検討対象たる同書の枢要な部分において作業をすすめ、その成果を漸次、専門家に諮った上で、主に国際的な研究者の集う場で発表してきた。本年度は『パノプリア・ドグマティケー』第26章「メッサリアノイ派反駁」についての分析成果について書評論文という形態で発表している。また2008年7-8月および2009年3月に、米国のシカゴ大・セントルイス大における資料調査と、在米ビザンツ学の専門家との懇談を行った。それらを踏まえた成果が、欧米の2008年度アカデミックイヤーの終盤、すなわち2009年6月に米国シカゴ大学で、2009年7月に英国リーズ大学で学会発表されることが確定している。以上の成果は、2009年度後半にシカゴ大学に提出される予定の博士論文に統合される。本研究の試みは、専門における新資料開拓という意義にとどまらず、中世世界の編纂活動を追体験するという歴史情報学の側面をあわせもつものであった。
