项目摘要

知的障害者が実際作業場面で示す作業遂行困難性について,これまでの著者の研究から示された「実際環境で知的障害者が遂行困難な手技作業課題」を適用し,作業遂行困難性の原因を検討した.今年度は前年度に得られた知的障害者の遂行困難性の原因のひとつである視覚-運動協応の問題について,さらに検討した.知的障害者3名と健常者3名を対象に,前述の手技作業課題を遂行させ,ビデオ解析によって動作と眼球運動パターンを比較した.なおこの実験に際して,インフォームドコンセントは得られており,実験者と実験参加者の間にはラポールが形成されていた.課題は小さなプラスチックバッグ(100mm×60mm)にキャラメルを2つ挿入し,シーリングするものである.健常者であればほぼ全ての者が遂行可能である.知的障害者の実際作業遂行時の視覚-運動協応特性について以下のことが明らかになった.1)健常者は対象(キャラメル,収納箱)へ手を伸ばす際に,動作の開始前に対象を注視している一方で,知的障害者は対象への眼球運動よりも運動の開始が先行する.これは,知的障害者がフィードフォワード制御をうまく利用できていないことを示す.2)健常者は手を伸ばす対象が正確な位置への動作を求める場合,1の傾向が明確に現れたが,正確な位置への動作を必要としない場合(対象が大きい場合)眼球運動は必ずしも動作に先行しなくなった.一方知的障害者は,対象の違いによってそのような変化は見られなかった.これは知的障害者の適応認知行動への問題を示す.3)健常者は試行内での作業構成動作が一貫しており,その動作出現タイミングに一貫性(リズム)が見られたが,知的障害者は見られなかった.これは知的障害者の適応行動の不安定さを示す.以上の結果より,知的障害者の巧緻性と遂行速度が低下し,結果的に遂行が困難になっていることが判明した.
