项目摘要

(1)地方鉄道の再生(積雪・過疎地域における地方鉄道の役割)に関する研究研究課題の独自性である地方都市における「地域特性」や「風土」に焦点をあて、テーマを設定し研究をおこなった。従来までの大都市を中心とした計画手法や研究は、一般論的な対応にとどまり、様々な地域特性をもつ地方都市への適用は非常に難しいのが現状である。都市の再生は大都市のみで行なわれるものではなく、日本の大多数を占める地方の小さな都市に対して最も考えていかなければならない課題である。そこで、今年度は、地方鉄道の果たす役割について、客観的な統計データ(利用実態や経営状況)だけではなく、地方都市がもつ「地域特性」や「風土」に考慮し(研究については主に積雪地域に着目)、地方鉄道をもつ地域(全国)を対象に調査をおこなった。上記研究については、レフリー付論文として投稿し採択されている。(2)海外事例研究による地方鉄道の駅周辺地区の再生(スイス・バーゼルにおける事例研究)欧米諸国における「地方鉄道の駅周辺地区におけるまちづくり(都市再生)」について、公共交通の満足度の高いスイス・バーゼルを調査都市として選定し現地調査を行った。あわせてバーゼル市役所の交通部門担当者に対してヒアリング調査を行い、駅周辺地区の再生に至った背景、市民と行政、事業者間のパートナーシップのあり方や具体的な再生手法等の整理をおこなった。上記研究については、口頭発表を終え次年度にレフリー付論文として投稿する予定である。

(1)The regeneration of local railways (snow cover, transit area and local railway service) is a research topic related to the independence of local cities, the characteristics of local cities and the focus of local environment. The planning methods of urban centers in the future are studied, and the general theory of urban planning is discussed. Urban regeneration is a major issue for most of Japan's cities. This year, local railways and local railway services are divided into three categories: statistical data of passengers (using actual conditions), local cities, regional characteristics and local conditions (study of main snow areas), local railways and regional (national) surveys. The above mentioned research paper was submitted to the Ministry of Science and Technology. (2)Overseas Case Study: Local Railway Perimeter Area Regeneration (Case Study) European and American Countries: "Local Railway Perimeter Area Regeneration (Urban Regeneration)": Survey of Public Transportation Facilities and Urban Selection Survey. The traffic department responsible person of the city office shall organize the investigation, the regeneration of the surrounding area, the background, the administration, the business, the specific regeneration method, etc. The last year's research paper was submitted orally.
