项目摘要

本研究課題は、中国、とくに寧夏回族自治区と北京、天津地区に居住する回族の言語である現代回族語を調査の対象とし、3年間の期間中にアンケート調査とインタビュー調査を中心とした現地調査と資料収集を行い、それらによって得られたデータに基づいた研究活動を行ってきた。そして、以下に紹介する通り一定程度の研究成果を公表するに至った。まず《中国寧夏回族話研究実地考察》の(1)~(5)は、それぞれ実地調査で得られた結果をもとに回族語の現状を分析したものである。(1)は第1回現地調査の成果を踏まえて、現在の寧夏のイスラム族に関する諸問題について考察したものであり、(2)は寧夏自治区の各都市の街頭、各村落の非常に濃厚な言語文化の息吹の源泉について考察したものである。(3)は寧夏自治区における民族(イスラム教関連)教育機関の民族の特色を生かした教育が、寧夏における回族語伝承の重要なツールの1つであることと、今後の発展の可能性について考察したものである。さらに、(4)は中国の研究者によるイスラム語に関する従来の定説と、我々が本研究課題の現地調査等から得た見方の違いを論じたものであり、(5)は寧夏自治区内のイスラム族に実施した言語・文化に関するアンケート調査の結果の統計から、言語生活と常用語の問題について考察したものである。また、現地協力者2名の協力を得て、イスラム族自身或は現地在住の漢族の視点からの考察を試みた。同2名の論考は現地の回族・漢族自身による現状とメッカ巡礼に関する問題を考察したものである。この他に、現地における回族に対するアンケート調査(1528名)結果の統計とその分析、イスラム教関係者と回族住民に対するインタビュー調査の録音資料を活字化したものとその解説、回族常用語のうち代表的なものについて解説した常用語彙解説集2篇、イスラム族の言語・文化・歴史等に関係する図書資料の目録、現地調査の際に撮影した記録画像集を関連資料としてまとめた。各成果の詳細については次頁以降の「研究成果」の項を参照されたい。
