我々は正常眼圧緑内障の多い本邦に於いて、緑内障治療の指針となる目標眼圧値を検出した。視野進行判定プログラムを用い、トレンド解析とイベント解析を比較した。また、新しい乳頭解析プログラム開発の可能性を示した。二プラジロールが、神経保護作用を有することを証明した。さらに、従来の術式と比較し、より定量性のある新しい手術治療の可能性としてのEx-press implant や、難治性緑内障に対する新しい術式であるインプラント手術の可能性について多義に亘り研究し報告した。
