项目摘要

受入教員のデュムショル教授監修のもと、プロジェクト名を「Empathy at Frontier Sciences Project(EFSP)」と名づけ、研究活動を進めた。本プロジェクトは、認知科学との概念上の交換によって、人文科学(すなわち、感情移入)の鍵となるカテゴリーの認識論の再概念化を探るものである。今年度は、(a)神経科学(特定の神経生理学)(b)社会的ロボット工学という認知科学の2つの異なる分科の業績に基づいて、EFSPを遂行した。これにより研究の方向性も2つの異なったものとなったが、同時に、相互に関係性が深いセクションを構成することも明らかになった。2つのセクションとは(1)Embodied Empathy Project(EEP)と(2)Artificial Empathy Project(AEP)である。(1)の成果は感情移入を個人間の調整のメカニズムであると捉えるモデルの構築であり、(2)の成果は人工的な感情強調装置という視点から社会的なロボット工学技術を認識論として捉えるものとなった。このプロジェクトの詳細な研究の背景、方法論、実施方法、結果、関連出版物については2009年10月に作成した外国人特別研究員の最終報告書に記載したので、参照いただきたい。

The name "Empathy at Frontier Sciences Project(EFSP)" refers to the advancement of research activities. This paper discusses the conceptual exchange of cognitive science and the reconceptualization of epistemology in the humanities.
