项目摘要

本研究の目的は、非政府組織あるいはNGOが日中関係に与える影響について研究することであった。本年度は、昨年度に行った非政府組織や非政府組織と関わっている政府組織へのインタービュー調査、同組織の出版物や日本・中国で出版されている論文等の分析を行った。本研究によって、日本の非政府組織・非政府組織と関わっている政府組織は、中国における環境問題や社会問題の解決を促し、両国間の相互理解を深めるための幅広い活動を行っており、両国関係に強い影響を与えているものの、中国国内の情報の公表は政府によって制限されており、目本の非政府組織の行っている活動は、未だ多くの中国人には知られていないということが明らかになった。本研究は、以下に報告されている。(1)Still the Asian Century?学会、「Civil Society in East Asia-Japanese NGOs' Activities in China」2008年9月、英国バーミンガム大学。(2)Japan Studies Association of Canada学会、「Japanese Local Governments in International Relations: Kobe City's Activities in China」2008年10月、カナダウォータールー大学。(3)2008年8月、「The Japan Foundation in China: An Agent of Japan's Soft Power?」という表題で、「Electronic Journal of Contemporary Japanese Studies」という学術ジャーナルに発表。(4)「Japanese NGOs in China: A Growing Factor in Japan-China Relations」と題した論文を「Japan Forum」という学術雑誌に投稿。現在審査中である。

The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between Japan and China and the influence of non-governmental organizations. This year, we conducted research on NGOs, NGOs, government organizations, publications of the same organizations, and papers published in Japan and China. This study focuses on the activities of governmental organizations in promoting environmental and social issues in China, enhancing mutual understanding between countries, strengthening the influence of international relations, and promoting the activities of governmental organizations in China.
