報告者は,平成21年度に実施した研究成果は以下のとおりである。(1)2009年6月20日～25日,北京市にある中央民族大学歴史学部・モンゴル学部を訪問した。(2)6月26日～29日,甘粛省夏河市に所在するゲルク派チベット仏教寺院ラブラン寺に赴き,該寺院が保管している清代青海ホシュート部右翼の有力王公チャガン=ダンジンと彼の子孫・王妃らのお墓,ダライ=ラマが授与した印章,遺物などを調査した。(3)6月30日～7月4日、青海省海南チベット族自治州河南モンゴル族自治県〓案館に行って、清代青海ホシュート部に関連する史料,及び右翼の右力者チャガン=ダンジンと彼の子孫らが使用していたダライ=ラマ授与の印章を収集した。また、河南モンゴル族自治県地方誌を購入した。該自治県は、清代では青海ホシュート部右翼4旗の領地であり,その首長層はほとんどチャガン=ダンジン一族であった。該旗における現地調査から、清朝と青海ホシュート部右翼間の境界線が非常に近くて、康煕・雍正年間において、清朝の軍事牽制策が容易に施行できる状況であったことが明らかになった。(4)7月6日～9日,青海省徳令哈市にある海西モンゴル族・チベット族自治州〓案館に行って,清代青海ホシュート部に関連する〓案史料を収集した。該自治州は清代青海ホシュート部左翼の領地であり,北部のチャイダム盆地ガス地帯はジューン=ガル部に通る軍事的要衝であった。(5)10日,青海湖南部のチャガン=トロガイという地に赴き、清代青海ホシュート部の首長らが会盟して湖神を祭っていた場所を確認した。(5)7月11日～17日,北京にある中国国家図書館善本部・北京大学図書館善太室に赴いて,清代モンゴル年代記・アラシャン=ホシュート旗行政区畫図を収集した。(6)2009年12月9日,筑波大学大学院東洋史研究演習において,博士論文構想発表を行なった。
