项目摘要

「代理商人の機能についての研究」という研究課題に対して,中国における代理商人を具体的対象とし,1.買弁と呼ばれる代理商人に注目した経営史の研究と,1.に基づいて,2.現代中国における代理商人や代理店に注目した経営学の研究を実施した.1.買弁と呼ばれる代理商人に注目した経営史の研究については,三井物産が1900年前後に買弁を廃止した理由および買弁を廃止することができた理由について研究を行なった.三井物産が中国大陸において4支店を対象に論文にまとめ,学会発表を行なった.この研究に基づき,三井物産上海支店を対象に買弁制度廃止前後の取引先,取引品目,取引先への信用供与額などについて分析した結果を論文にまとめ,学会発表を行なった.この論文を基に,三井物産が買弁制度に雇用した中国人従業員についての分析を加えた論文が,『経営史学』に掲載される予定である.先の論文における三井物産在中国支店の組織改革を基に,Stopford and Wells[1972]が提示した多国籍企業における組織の分析枠組みを用いて,買弁制度廃止前後の三井物産の組織を分析した結果を論文にし,学会発表を行なった.2.現代中国における代理商人や代理店に注目した経営学の研究については,日本企業が中国企業に委託する活動と,中国企業が中国企業に委託する活動について研究を行なった.日本企業による中国企業を代理店として委託する活動としては,中国南部(華南)における自動車産業を対象に分析した結果を論文にした.中国企業による中国企業を代理店として委託する活動としては,大連理工大学の大学発ベンチャーが既存企業に業務を委託する活動を対象に分析してまとめ,学会発表を行なった.上記の通り,採用第2年目においては,中国における代理商人についての経営史研究を進めつつ,その知見を活かして経営学研究に発展させることができた.
